Only 2 chemos left.
Spending a few days recovering at the beach was wonderful. Thank you Claudia for generously letting the 'rents and I use your house! I walked a bit, ate well, and slept better than I have in some time.
Today my body HURTS. That's HURTS with capital mo-fo-ing letters.
But I only have 2 chemos left.

Hope the beach is super relaxing. Taxol hurts like all get out. Last round was so bad, I just about checked myself in to get IV morphine. So this time my onc surprised me, and gave me slow release low dose morphine, and then painkillers for break-through pain on top of it. Life is MUCH better, though I can't drive. But the pain is dealable at least. Hope your pain eases up, and just wanted to let you know about this solution if you're in need.

I'm so glad you got to go to the beach. I know how much you must miss it. Last Thursday, Mitch and I went for a walk at down Salt Creek Beach, and it was just a gorgeous evening and sunset (although I think that hotels that rake and manicure the sand daily is just a bit too much, meaning the St. Regis). Are we still on for Hawaii 2008?
